The Music Icon Embraces a Dark Alter Ego of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film Teaser

The Grammy-winning artist is getting ready for a major cinematic presence in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, she plays what she calls as a dark version of her public image.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the performer commented.

She elaborated in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea came from the pressure to make one.

A Glimpse into The Project

The initial preview, launched on this week, blends authentic footage from her live performances with made-up off-stage interactions.

The film is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who shared that the story focuses on a reality where Charli took completely different paths during the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.

The following year will also see Charli together with Olivia Wilde in sensual story I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in gallery suspense The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in terror reimagining Faces of Death.

Additionally, she signed on to star in the actress’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

I’m deeply appreciating my acting journey, the performer shared. I feel very, very inspired right now in that field, and I only ever choose to take on roles that stimulate me.

February will also include the debut of the filmmaker’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase original songs from Charli.

She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release soon.
