Which players were selected for Troy's EPL weekly best XI?
Each round of English football fixtures this season, sports analyst Troy Deeney presents his team and boss of the Week.
Here are the most recent selections. Are you in agreement? Let us know via the comments form below.
Goalkeeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham might have been trailing by six at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Massive moment, stepped up and demonstrated real class. Some top goalkeeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. A loss might have ruined their campaign.
Defenders
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for season's best. Fans mention about Arsenal players. He's been the standout player without doubt.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a mad supporter to say 'He scores and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got massive odds on that. He shone. He's becoming a powerhouse. He proves to be a challenge. I'm happy to see him playing similar to before.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him multiple matches last year in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled because he was making mistakes. But at Newcastle he's been a monster. He's been great strength and forceful and looks elegant. It seems he has secured a perfect fit.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a full-back, more of a contemporary style in attack. He has proven to be a wonderful signing for Brighton. Few are astonished at them finding another gem unexpectedly? Many felt releasing Pervis Estupinan it was odd but Brighton know more than us.
Engine room
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they make it for the shared purpose. Their teams won, everyone will talk those who netted, but lacking these players those teams don't click. They excel. They break up play, they attack together.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. Many Arsenal fans, such as family members, were questioning if he could be the man to lead them to success. A hat-trick in the north London derby and now they want to honor him permanently of him. Goals, composure, he dominated. The best player on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it is extremely tough to leave him out. I felt he began well this campaign, In my opinion he seemed somewhat presumptuous and thought he maybe have got a move to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he seems to have settled down. Two great goals obviously against Leeds pulled his side from behind. He was the difference maker.
Forwards
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he doesn't look his typical form. He appeared as if he was slower. Yet amazing. Simply phenomenal. He performed superbly. Brilliant in his play and in his dual goals.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He performs strongly, often more effective as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he must start. He failed to convert a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. However showing the mental fortitude to place himself into challenging moments and get a brace was remarkable.
Coach
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and beats Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It could have been multiple goals for Forest and all would agree.
